"I am of the opinion that my life belongs to the whole community and as long as I live, it is my privilege to do for it whatever I can. I want to be thoroughly used up when I die, for the harder I work the more I live." – George Bernard Shaw

Commitment Statement

The Colorado and New Mexico regions are my home. The Artists living and working here are my people. This industry has been my lifelong passion. From my early days at The College of Santa Fe, where I worked on the first films produced at Garson Studios, to attending the 2024 Denver Film Festival celebrating the success of a major motion picture shot in the region, I have witnessed firsthand the incredible talent and potential in our community. As someone who has worked on both sides of the camera, I am well acquainted with the unique dynamics of our industry and the anxiety most participants experience.. Over the years I have collaborated closely with other film and television industry leaders in both CO and NM advocating for the advancement of our local media artist community and will continue to do so. I am deeply committed to ensuring everyone in our region continue to have the resources, support, and opportunities to succeed.

Community and Regional Development

I have developed deep relationships with the media artist community in the CO and NM regions through participation in professional associations and organizations: Advocating, strategizing and leading efforts to bring projects to the region, speaking to press and legislators for industry incentives. Proudly I stood side by side in solidarity with union members and Gov. Hickenlooper during the strikes. With my strong roots in NM and CO, creating growth opportunities for film professionals to consistently work across the region is the goal. I believe in the value of mentorship and collaboration.

Student and Independent Film Makers

It is both a wonderful and daunting time to be an emerging artist, so our office has made a commitment to lift the voices and ideas of those wanting to create. Please come to us with your project and let's find a way to make it happen. Whether it is conducting casting sessions that fit your small budget or simply connecting artists with each other to make magic happen, we are here for you.

Assistance for Actors

The audition process has changed dramatically since the pandemic. While a good portion of actors have navigated the waters with ease, there are populations of talent who either continue to struggle or have given up entirely. No actor should be held back by new advances in casting. No opportunity should be denied due to financial disparity, access to tools, location, comprehension of technology, etc. Our office is deeply committed to ensuring equitable casting opporunities. We offer in person casting options for those in need, free advice, workshops and videos with tips & tricks, as well as limit our expectations/requirements for self tapes. If you are an actor needing assistance, please contact our office. We are here for you.

Videos for Self Tape Tips

Our office is creating a YouTube channel with free video tutorials, tips and tricks for self tapes. Please stay tuned for more information.

Bridging the Gap

Since moving to Denver from NYC in 2005, it has been a goal to bridge the gap between the film/tv and theatre communities. Currently I am working with Miners Alley Performance Center to provide workshps and resources for actors. I will be expanding this endeavor across our region in the near future. Please stay tuned for more information.
